Hi Margareth, oven temp is very important with macarons – I just made some today and the oven had been turned off when I had not realized, even though I turned it straight back on they turned out cracked and with no foot – so yes I think your oven temp is the issue. Try 160 and if that does not work try a friends oven. It seems unusual to me the the oven would not go lower – it is not in degrees F is it? I am guessing not as you still managed to bake them and at 160 F they would not bake.

Someone needs to list everything that is about to be banned so I can make a shopping list, I've been buying my 100 watt bulbs, but I didn't know I need to stock up on mouse bait. So I'll be stopping at the not so big box store that still carries a good selection 100 watt lamps and getting some more packs of mouse pellets also.

Yeah I saw that you did it Frenchy and it egg’d me on you step it up, I didn’t get a chance to attempt heavier but hopefully that just means I can smash this result next time.

If you need an employment layewr, then you should look at the websites for employment layewrs on the American Bar Association and American Trial Lawyers Association web sites. Often, the most experienced layewrs are not the ones on the legal match sites, because those are the layewrs who are still building a business. If you are having a problem finding a layewr to take your case, maybe you don’t have a case to take.
If you get it working, do give us an update. I don’t have a mac myself, so I can’t be of much help. But I do hope you record your experiences to help others.
